Natural Smile By Design™

Our unique two step dental implant procedure designed for natural results.

We have one goal for all of our patients, a natural smile.  For long-term, lifelike replacement of missing teeth, dental implants are the most technologically advanced solution. Our dental implant procedure includes a team of specialist doctors.  Having a team of dental specialists insures that you will have  lifelike, functional and natural appearing teeth.  Studies have shown that this multidisciplinary, two-step process is the best predictor of successful dental implant therapy. Dr. David Zelby is a prosthodontist, which is a specialty in dentistry focusing on the complete restoration of damaged or missing teeth. A prosthodontist is a “true cosmetic dentist.” He acts as the architect of the dental implant procedure from start to finish.  After a careful assessment he will design your personalized treatment plan, which will result in beautiful, predictable and successful results.

At Aesthetic & Implant Dentistry of Atlanta our dental implant procedure is unparalleled  in its combination of expert skills and personalized attention.

After a complete, comprehensive oral health evaluation, X-rays and advanced dental impressions our partnering oral surgeon will place a metal implant into the jawbone to act as the new “root,” of the tooth.  Dr. Zelby will custom design and craft the actual new tooth to join with the dental implant.  As a specialist, he will consider the function of the tooth or teeth being replaced, its’ perfect placement and the most natural size, shape and shade of the replacement tooth. We pride ourselves on completely naturally looking tooth restorations, never square or too white but, a subtle graduation of color, just like your natural teeth.

Your first appointment will include a thorough examination and collection of diagnostic records.  A careful diagnosis requires data to be collected and assembled at this appointment.
